The car has been driven fewer than 6,000 Km since the 200 Hp, 2,000cc Vauxhall/Opel C20Xe with quad QED/Jenvy throttle bodies, Kent L14 cams, programmable MBE ECU, 5 speed NG1 box and uprated clutch were meticulously rebuilt, balanced and prepared for Supersprint competition.
The comprehensive preparation and upgrade included new -- pendant pedal box with adjustable bias disc brakes and hydraulic clutch, up-rated springs, adjustable dampers, adjustable stabiliser bar, aluminium race radiator, aluminium tanks, inbuilt Lifeline fire extinguisher, substantial rollover protection, interior trim, 'glass race seats, inertia reel belts and clip-in Willans 6 point harness, Odyssey battery, electrical wiring with cut-out key, remote locking, digital dash instrument display, full function column switching of lights and new twin wipers, Calypso Red body-off repaint Toyo R888 tyres and much more.
The car is a delight to drive, both on the road and on the track.
