| Description | We've been together since 1986, but alas it's time we went our separate ways. Zagato needs some
tender loving care and I've lost the passion. She's had an
active life; daily driving kids to school and chasing waves along the Great Ocean Road where she's
managed to carry a quiver of surfboards including a 10 foot
Malibu!
She's been garaged for the last 6 years and had many surgeries. Her list of faults is long (haven't we
all!) She needs: new extractors, front break calipers, left
front wheel bearing, tyres, window winder assembly and some cancer to be removed. But on the plus
side: her wheel rims have been widened for a sexier look,
her generator has been rewound and regulator replaced, a break-booster installed (not standard), rear
leaf spring replaced, much rust removed, new front
screen, restored timber steering wheel, her heater works well, rear electric window motor restored to
working condition, reupholstered cloth seat inserts (not
standard) and carpets. She starts easily, and her electrics are good. She doesn't drink water or oil - or
suffer from incontinence. She is a 1.3 litre V4, with
aluminium doors and bonnet.
An exotic mixture maybe, but a very, very rare model to find. If you lust after her shape, then you will
think she's worth the trouble. If not, then check out the Alfas,
MGs or Porsches. But in my opinion, although they're sexy as well, they're as common as muck. Search
the Unique Cars Trader magazine to see if you can find
another catch.
She comes as is with No Doctors Certificate, but I will deliver her to Melbourne to the successful buyer.
