Description	Cobra 427 S/C (Kirkham). Assembled by Mike McCluskey (Torrance California) in 1997 on the 8th chassis built by Kirkham (with correct alloy body) . One of the cars photographed for the production of the 1st Kirkham Motorsports Brochure. Also listed in the 4th Edition of the SAAC World Registry of Cobras and GT40's on pages 853 & 870. It was featured on the cover of Unique Cars (Issue # 258), with an accompanying detailed article. Fitted with period correct 1965 427FE side oiler engine, close ratio top loader gearbox, Girling alloy brake calipers, 42 gallon fuel tank, Smiths instruments, etc and is absolutely indistinguishable from an original Shelby Cobra 427 S/C. Shocks and springs were recently upgraded to Penske package developed for Kirkham cars. The car was Titled in New York as a 1965 Ford Roadster when purchased, and imported into Australia in 2005 as a 1997 Kirkham with only 1726 miles on the odometer.
