Ferrari has launched snow and ice driving courses on both sides of the pond with both Aspen and St Moritz hosting two-day courses for adventurous owners.

Based on the ‘Pilota on Ice’ driving programme offered in Europe, the new US Winter Driving Experience is Ferrari’s latest and “most dynamic” course yet.

The course is specifically modelled to allow owners of the all-wheel drive Ferrari FF  to learn how to make the most of their vehicle’s abilities in any season, or as Ferrari puts it: “to elevate driver skill and comfort, and to enhance a driver’s understanding of the car’s extraordinary breadth of abilities”.

Owners will be offered professional training on a purpose-built facility. The highly technical course allowing students, under the close direction of Ferrari instructors, to experience the “impressive handling attributes” of the Ferrari FF’s new 4RM all-wheel drive system.

Exclusively available to Ferrari owners, the Ferrari Winter Driving Course is a two day programme with a price of $US11,300 which excludes transport to Aspen.

The European Pilota on Ice course is available from Euro 8000, again excluding air fares.

Full details on both courses are available from Ferrari dealers across the country.

The Ferrari FF will arrive in Australia in early 2012.
