Buyers enjoy peace of mind with prestige marque offering free scheduled maintenance for up to seven years

The local distributor for the Ferrari marque has introduced a new scheduled maintenance program for Ferraris sold after October 24.

Transferable to new owners, the program covers the labour costs, spare parts, engine oil and brake fluid for a standard service carried out at intervals of 20,000km — or once a year if the vehicle travels further.

"The Ferrari Genuine Maintenance programme is the latest facet in a range of customer services aimed at assisting new and existing Ferrari owners with the ownership of their Ferrari," said Kevin Wall, General Manager for Ferrari in Australia.

"These programmes make it easier to join the Ferrari family, provide support and protection for each owner and give the peace of mind that allows Ferrari owners to fully enjoy the unique experience that comes with driving and owning a Ferrari."

In addition to the maintenance program, Ferrari dealers and the wholesaler are also running a Ferrari Approved program for used cars, covered by a 12-month warranty. Plus there's a nine-year extended warranty that can be tailored for drivetrain coverage alone, if the vehicle owner prefers. Other services provided include Pre-Owned Search, Ferrari Classiche (verifying a car's bona fides), Ferrari Genuine (spare parts) and Ferrari Pilota driving courses.
