Local Citroen importer Ateco Automotive has been caught short by the unexpected demand for the C4 Picasso since its launch earlier this year (more here).

Ateco arranged with the factory for an additional allocation of the Picasso to be shipped for September retailing and has ordered a third run which is on sale as of this month.

Just to make sure the new shipment sells with the same vigour as the earlier imports, Ateco is offering the C4 Picasso with $1000 worth of fuel to buyers for a limited time. The offer also includes fog lights, roof rails and a Mio C520 satnav unit with Bluetooth connectivity thrown into the deal.

With the third run, Ateco is finally at a point where the company can supply the Picasso to buyers almost immediately.

The petrol Picasso is priced at $39,990 and the turbodiesel model is priced at $44,990.
